Harxon HX-DU1603D-SE External UHF Rover Radio Kit for Trimble R8s
Turn your Trimble R8s into a UHF-capable rover with a complete external radio package designed for receiving local RTK corrections from compatible construction and surveying base stations.
Built around the Harxon HX-DU1603D-SE, this package provides a practical solution for Trimble R8s users who don't have an internal UHF radio and want the flexibility to work with different UHF base stations in the field.
The HX-DU1603D-SE operates across 410–470 MHz and supports commonly used surveying radio protocols including TrimTalk450S, TrimMark3 and SATEL, making it well suited to working around Trimble and other compatible UHF infrastructure.

Designed for flexible site work
Rather than being locked to one particular base station, the HX-DU1603D-SE can be configured to match the UHF settings used on different sites.
The radio supports:
- 410–470 MHz UHF operation
- TrimTalk450S
- TrimMark3
- SATEL
- 12.5 kHz and 25 kHz channel spacing
- Adjustable frequency/channel settings
- Adjustable air-link settings
- RS-232 communication with the GNSS receiver
This makes the package particularly useful for contractors and surveyors moving between construction sites where different compatible UHF base stations may be in use.
Trimble R8s connection
The package is designed to connect the external Harxon radio to the 7-pin Port 1 connection on the Trimble R8s, with the external battery supplying power to the radio.
The HX-DU1603D-SE accepts a wide 9–36 V DC input range, making it well suited to a portable field battery setup.
Before ordering
UHF frequencies and radio settings vary between sites. The rover radio must be configured to match the frequency, protocol, channel spacing and applicable settings of the base station transmitting corrections.
Trimble R8s receiver is not included.

Order Confirmation:
As soon as you place your order you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorised your credit card for the purchase.
As soon as we receive your order we automatically check to confirm that your order is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item is on back-order or unavailable we will void the pre-authorisation and reach out to you via e-mail to see if alternate arrangements can be made.
If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days) we will process the charges and get to work preparing your order for shipment.
Order Shipment:
If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card it will ship within three business days from the date of your order.
We will send you shipping confirmation within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.

International Orders:
Please be aware that our products are made specifically for the Australian market. This means that they require a 240V electrical system to function correctly.
Our products have generally not been certified for use with other countries electrical safety standards but all of our products are certified to Australian standards.

Damages:
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery or do not agree to accept the delivery.
If you do accept delivery you are required to immediately take photos using your smart phone or camera of the damaged packaging or products inside the packaging.
